Tabling

Each year, student organizations and labs participate in hosting a table to teach about their topic of choice. In the past we have had groups do face painting, have live amphibians, and game-like evolutionary activities! Read more below to find out what is happening this year.

Binghamton University Bees Club

BU Bees Logo.png

Our topic addresses the vital Save the Bees movement, aimed at identifying native bees unique to the Binghamton/NY area, their purpose, floral associations, an what you can do to help promote and maintain their conservation! While we aim to talk about our honeybees for part of it, Save the Bees is a largely misunderstood topic, with the actual bees in need of saving being native bee species. We aim to communicate this as our main topic to our audience in a fun, educational, and engaging manner!
