​Our topic addresses the vital Save the Bees movement, aimed at identifying native bees unique to the Binghamton/NY area, their purpose, floral associations, an what you can do to help promote and maintain their conservation! While we aim to talk about our honeybees for part of it, Save the Bees is a largely misunderstood topic, with the actual bees in need of saving being native bee species. We aim to communicate this as our main topic to our audience in a fun, educational, and engaging manner!

We will do a "paint a pot" event, where we turn non-recyclable bottles into pots and we then let people paint the pots and plant seeds into them. We will also inform them about our club and upcycling in general while they do this.
